When it comes to makeup, I definitely wouldn’t say I’m an expert by ANY means, but when it comes to makeup shopping, I might just be an expert. I have tried TONS of different products and while I have a bunch of ones I like, these are my top 5, can’t live without, must-haves!
(Disclaimer! These photos are unfiltered and unedited! This is what the products ACTUALLY look like on me!)

L’Oreal Infallible Lipstick– This lipstick has changed my life! Okay not really but it’s pretty amazing! It’s double sided, one with the color and one with a Shea butter type gloss. The way it works is you put the color side on first, let it dry for about 30 seconds and then apply the gloss. This lipstick will stay on ALL day! I’m talking all day. You will have to remove it at the end of the day with makeup remover. It doesn’t come off when you eat or drink and when your lips feel dry you just put the gloss back over the color! I have it in 4 colours so far, and I want all of them!

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation– I’ve been using this foundation for a few years. I tend to gravitate towards dewy foundations and this one definitely fits the bill! Some people might not like the “oily” look of this foundation but for me, the matte ones are too drying and cakey for my liking. The coverage is great, it stays dewy all day, and I actually find it looks better and better as the day goes on! I apply the foundation with a brush and use a stippling type motion. I like using the brush this way because I can control how much product I use and decide where I need more coverage

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz– When I heard all the hype about this pencil, I didn’t believe. I just assumed a pencil was a pencil. Well, I was wrong. This product is double sided. The first side has a pencil that is very thin so it allows you to make sharp, hair like strokes and the other side is an eyebrow brush so you can brush any access color and style your eyebrows anyway you want. It also comes in a great array of colours which makes it much easier to customize to which color suits you best!

Benefit Lash Curling and Lifting Mascara– What a lot of people don’t know is that if you order make up from Sephora.com you can get up to 8 free samples with your orders! Some of the samples are amazing! I often get little mini mascaras to try, which is awesome because you can try out a sample size before you spend the money on the full size one. While I’ve liked most of the mascara samples I’ve tried, my favourite, by far, is the Benefit roller lash mascara. The brush is fine and spiky and sticks to every little lash! The best part is, it does what it claims, curls and lifts!

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer– When it comes to concealers, I’ve tried them all. I was blessed with the permanent, I look like I’ve been up for 3 days straight, deep, horrific, dark circles under my eyes. In the never ending quest to hide those bad boys, I stumbled upon this gem of a product! I’ll be honest, I layer this stuff on pretty aggressively and while that might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I prefer a heavy concealed look to looking like a walking zombie. It really doesn’t crease, and again, it’s dewy! GREAT selection of colours to choose from!

Let me know if you guys have tried any of these products and what you thought of them! I’m thinking of doing some YouTube tutorials, but I’m sooooo nervous because I have never done anything like that before! I guess that’s why I started the blog in the first place though… to get out of my comfort zone! Xoxo
