Hey frrriiieeennnddsss! I’ve had a couple requests for a blog post about my skincare routine which is actually MIND BLOWING TO ME! I’ve struggled with my skin FOREVER and have always been super self conscious about it! And while my skin is nowhere near perfect, it’s definitely looking the best it ever has so I’m happy to share my “secrets” (not actual secrets!) with all of you!
NONE of these products in this post are sponsored. This is the actual shizzz I use. There are affiliate links though so BEEEEEEEE CAREFUL!!!!
Cleanser! I’m obsessed with trying to find all natural/cruelty free products and while I’m not perfect in my search, I am happy to have found some products from The Body Shop that I’ve been obsessing over. If I could transition ALL my beauty products to The Body Shop, I would be a happy girl! The first thing I’ve been using is the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Microdermabrasion Exfoliating Face Scrub and I’m kind of obsessed with it! It says to use it once or twice a week but I’m a rebel and I use it every day in the shower! At night, I use the Drops of Light™ Pure Clarifying Face Wash. They’re both bomb and like I said, my skin has never looked better!
Moisturizer!- I’ve been using OLEHENRIKSEN 3 Little Wondersoff and on for a few years now! I can’t say much for the serums, I mean I like them but I don’t know if I would say they are life changing but the moisturizer is! Honestly it’s UNBELIEVABLE for wrinkles. I don’t know why I ever stop using it! I have yet to find an eye cream I like, but I’ve heard good things about the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment! (I’m going to buy it with a gift card and I’ll keep you posted!)
Mask! I’ve been using Normaderm 3-In-1 from Vichy for as long as I can remember. It’s awesome because it dries up any pimples I might have and also acts like an exfoliator so it gets all the dead dry skin off!
Extra goodies! I try my best to eat gluten free vegan whenever I can and I think that has made a HUGE difference on my skin! I try to drink lots of water (emphasis being on the word TRY!) I have also had a few Fraxel laser treatments from The Skin Girls (which you can read more about here if you want!) and I think that has made a huge impact on my skin! It’s definitely helped with my melasma!
And last but not least… I know it’s not possible for everyone, but I live the sloth life and sleep as much as humanly possible. They don’t call it “beauty sleep” for nothing people!
