Vancouver bloggers holiday brunch!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think about how lucky I am! One year ago, I was living in Winnipeg dreaming about starting a blog, bored, unhappy, lonely… Fast forward one year and I’m brunching with some of the most amazing bloggers in Vancouver at one of the nicest hotels downtown??? Seriously! A dream come true! Find out what happened when me and 50 of my closest “friends” met up for a fabulous brunch extraordinaire!

One of the best things about blogging, and possibly one of the weirdest, is how close you get to other bloggers! I’ve been chatting daily with other amazing bloggers for almost a year but have never actually met most of them in real life! One of them being Anca of www.agracefullife.net. She contacted me a little while ago and had asked me if I was interested in attending a holiday themed blogger brunch. Of course I was interested! Her and I quickly became “besties”, talking all the time but never actually meeting until the day of the brunch!

Since I had just moved to Vancouver 6 months prior, I wasn’t familiar with some of the stunning downtown hotels. The legendary Rosewood Hotel Georgia is a beautiful hotel right in the centre of the city. It’s elegant, fashionable, luxiourous and is now decorated with some amazing Christmas decorations!

After taking some photos in the beautiful lobby, we went upstairs to one of the rooms that was reserved for us. Anca did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING job with the decorations and all the little attention to detail. She organized a secret Santa exchange and even had little take home party favours on all the tables. The food was amazing, with a full buffet style brunch and a table full of the cutest desserts!

After the food and the gift exchange it was time for what else…. PICTURES! Take 50 social media/blogger ladies, put them in the centre of a dream background, and see how many cameras and phones come out! I’m usually the only weirdo with my phone out capturing every little thing going on, but as I looked around, I saw people using their creativity everywhere! I can’t wait to see everyone’s photos and blog posts about the event!

Everyone was dressed so beautifully (we are fashion bloggers after all!) I wanted to go shopping for a fab new outfit, but of course, my laziness prevented that from happening! Luckily I had a tutu and some sparkles in my closet already!

After months of chatting with these super amazing, ambitious, Vancouver GIRL BOSSES, it was unbelievable to finally meet them all and chat in person! It was the perfect little event to really get me in the Christmas spirit! Can you believe Christmas is less than a month away? Do you guys have any fun events you’re looking forward to?
