Krista and I have been friends for a long time and I’ve been fortunate enough to do a few photo shoots with her! She works for the same airline company as I do and still finds time to do photography on the side. While she mostly specializes in boudoir, this girl can shoot anything! I suggested meeting up and doing a fun, quick photo shoot, so we could catch up, and I could showcase some beautiful pieces I’ve received recently from some companies I’ve collaborated with. Here’s what we got up to!
(all these photos are unedited and credit goes to the lovely @kaydeeluxephoto. Special thanks to Inn at The Forks for letting us use their lobby and lounge!)
The first piece I wanted to wear is from Single Thread Boutique. We connected via Instagram and they asked me to pick out a few pieces from their website. When I saw the wine checkered wrap, I knew I wanted it! I was obsessed with the colours and had never owned a wrap like this before! It’s perfect for staying warm, layering, and adding a little flair to any plain outfit.
The second piece I wanted to showcase is from Miss Tallulah Boutique. I chose the sparkle blazer because, well let’s face it, I’m obsessed with anything sparkly. I love that you can dress up a t-shirt and jeans with this blazer or wear it over a dress! It’s totally versatile and such a cute piece to have in your collection!
The last piece I wanted to show off was this stunning, classy, limited edition, high neck dress from Luxemme. They have absolutely beautiful, feminine pieces and you can get a 10% discount off anything in the store with my code wanderlustkyla! Unfortunately they only ship to the UK right now (?) For all my non UK friends, you can check out ASOS.com for some very similar styles!
I’m so grateful Krista was game to play along and shoot me in my new pieces! If you’re in the Winnipeg area, I highly recommend booking something with her because not only is she an amazing photographer, she’s one of the nicest people I know! Hopefully I can convince her to do it again someday… sure beats the normal boring afternoon!
